When Should You Start Planning a Theme Party?

You know that you want to have a theme party, there is no doubts in your mind about that. After all, having a theme party means that your party will be one that no one will ever forget.

But when should you start planning your theme party? There are a lot of preparations that go into making your theme a reality so you need time to throw a decent theme party.

You need to get invitations, decide your theme, get foods related to your theme, figure out what type of clothes everyone should be wearing, and of course decide how you are going to be decorating for your party.

With all of the things that need to be done, when is the right time for you to start working?

There really is no set time-frame that you need to host your theme party. In fact, you could easily throw a party together in two weeks or less if you know what you are doing.

Believe it or not, the most time consuming thing about planning your party is choosing your theme.

After all, this is going to what your entire party is based on.

Once you have settled on a theme it is just a matter of finding things that go along with your theme.

Before you even send out your invitations, you can start looking for the party supplies that you want and planning the things that you want to have for your parry.

Sure, you may not know how much of everything you will need yet, but you can still work on picking out party favors, party games, color schemes, and decorations.

Then once you have sent out your invitations, you should give yourself a week between the RSVP date that you put on your cards and the actual date of your party.

This will ensure that you buy enough to accommodate all of your guests, but it will also ensure that you don't overbuy for your party either.

So after you have your theme, how can you plan your theme party in two weeks?

First, you will order the things that you know you will need.

This includes decorations for the house, invitations for your guests, and games/movies/etc. that might fall in line with your theme.

While you are waiting for your order to arrive, start looking at foods that you can create that will go along with your theme.

For example, you could have whimsical Christmas foods if you are having a Grinch themed party or you can have the foods that they ate in the Twilight movie if you are having a vampire themed party.

Once the items that you have ordered have arrived, then it is time for you to send out your invitations, remembering to leave at least a week between the RSVP date and the date of your party.

Then when you know how many people will be at your party, you can order your themed party favors and paper products.

I recently discovered this site and I can tell you that my life has not been the same. I now come here EVERYDAY and spend at least 1 hour.

I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty magazine which just means that I spend more. Now I have replaced that habit with coming here.

In future I will think about contributing articles as well. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! and God bless"
