While Amazon pioneered the development of eReaders, it was only with the release of their Kindle Touch model that they entered the world of full touch-screen technology. But they entered with a bang with this world class e-ink device.
The design of the Touch is thin, with a 6” screen and weighing only 7.5 ounces. And there are just two physical buttons on the device: the home and standby buttons.
And it utilizes the most advance Pearl e-ink technology available, giving the reader the closest thing to an actual written page imaginable. And since the screen is not back-lit, there is absolutely no glare, even in bright light situations.
A particularly nice thing about the Touch is the adjustable font size feature. And by simply tapping a word you receive a dictionary definition, can take notes, highlight text – and even share passages with friends via social networks.
Add to this its built-in 'text to speech' feature, which allows you to listen to audio books, and you have a device that can accommodate a wide range of reader tastes.
The Kindle Touch comes with built-in 3-G wireless technology – just like a cell phone – but without a monthly charge or contract requirement. It's just part of the device.
With this feature you have direct access to the Amazon.com Kindle Store, which the CNET technology review site calls “...the best on the internet.” At the store, readers have access to literally millions of books, magazines, and newspapers – with hundreds of thousands of titles available for under $10.
Add to that access to free classics, public library lending, and the ability to read reviews and sample first chapters for free, and you now have options previously unheard of for the reading public.
The device holds around 3000 books – a pretty nice library by any standard. And each is stored in the cloud, so they can't be lost – even if you lose or break your device.
And with the 3-G turned off, the battery is good for a whole month's worth of reading!
The Touch comes in two models; one at $99, with home screen advertisements, and one at $149 without the ads.
The ads on the less expensive model, however, are not intrusive, and are actually about things readers really might be interested in knowing, including special offers from both Amazon and local merchants.
This may well be the eReading device that sets the standard for years to come.

I recently discovered this site and I can tell you that my life has not been the same. I now come here EVERYDAY and spend at least 1 hour.
I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty

habit with coming here.
In future I will think about contributing articles as well. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! and God bless"
