The Best Time Management Motivation Is Fun

The whole point behind most people struggling with time management is a lack of motivation. There is a reason you are putting important tasks off until later; because you simply do not want to do them.

But if you can learn to make these tasks fun and enjoyable, it can be terrific time management motivation.

So how in the world do you make something that you dread so much half way enjoyable? The first tip is to find any aspect of the task that you enjoy.

If you absolutely hate cleaning, think about how nice your room or home will look when it is done. If you cannot stand doing homework, think about how proud your parents will be when grades come back.

Next, try to involve friends or people you care about if at all possible. While this will not work for every task, a lot of priorities can include friends and family members.

By adding an enjoyable person to the mixture, it can keep things lighthearted. Before you know it, the task will be completed and you will have had a great time with someone close to you.

In addition to adding friends, add something positive to the equation. If cleaning is something that is irritating, turn on some of your favorite music and focus on the lyrics.

Try to distract yourself with enjoyable things like listening to music, turning your favorite television show on in the background, or drawing while listening to lectures in class.

The next tip to keep your time management motivation up is to realize it is a quick and painless act.

Although it is extreme to compare, vacuuming the house is far less painful than serving in Iraq. Studying for a test does not compare to serving time in Prison.

Each of your tasks is most likely a quick act that can be completed in no time.

The final tip to keep things fun is to reward yourself for completing various tasks. If you know going into the task that there is something waiting following its completion, it will motivate you to work harder.

You will have something to strive for knowing there is your favorite dinner or a new shirt waiting at the finish line.

Time management often gets played out to be something far bigger than it really is.

Keeping it lighthearted and thinking positive about the tasks in front of you can work to be tremendous time management motivation.
