Retweet and share information yourself. If your followers and fans are posting things that are relevant and interesting, return the favor and make sure that you share that information with everyone.
They will get a kick out of it, and be more willing to interact with you in the future.
Ask for feedback. This can be a really great, easy way to know what your fans and followers are thinking, and they will think it is great that you want to know their opinion.
A lot of companies don't bother to do that, so you stand apart from the pack.
