I Prefer to Stop Dog Barking With A Citronella Anti Bark Spray Collar
There are other barking dog collar types you can use that I would personally prefer to shock collars.
Spray Anti-Bark Collars use a citronella spray that interrupts the pattern of behaviour whenever your dog barks.
The vibration and sound of barking makes the trigger sensor shoot out a citronella scented liquid which surprises it and stops it from barking.
Dogs generally hate the smell of the citronella essential oil and will try hard to avoid it, especially when it is sprayed near the nose.
A smart dog will work out very quickly that every time it starts barking, that 'stink' happens, so it simply stops barking.
