How To Make Your Date Feel Special


If you are planning a date with someone new or if you are planning a date night with someone that you are already in a relationship with, here are three tips to make that person feel extra special.

#1 – Bring a Gift

A gift is always appreciated and it is something that doesn't have to cost that much money.

If you are picking up your date from their home or if you are meeting at a particular location, bring along a little something that you can hand over.

This can be a small box of chocolates or a nice bouquet of flowers. If you know that she is an avid reader, you could even buy her a book by her favourite author.

A gift that shows that you pay attention will always be appreciated. This is a great way to start off any date.

#2 – Pay for The Meal

Even though we live in a world where equality is a very important issue, you can still earn brownie points by offering to pay for the meal at the end of your date.

You do not have to be outrageously over the top about this. In fact the more subtle you are about paying for the bill, the more impressed your date will be.

The only thing that you need to be aware of is that if your date looks a little offended by your offer or is insistent on splitting the bill, then do not push the point.

Accept the arrangement and think of other ways that you can be chivalrous.

#3 – Pay Plenty of Compliments

Everyone loves to receive a compliment and it is such as easy thing to do.

You can start by making a comment about the outfit that your date is wearing. Tell her how nice she looks, and how that particular colour suits her.

If you are doing some sort of activity on your date like bowling or ice-skating then make compliments about their throwing or skating ability.

These compliments only work if you are being sincere. If your date isn't that good, then don't blatantly lie.

Think about things you can say that are still complimentary like “great try” or “you are doing better than me” or “you'll get it next time”.

As long as your date feels that these statements are encouraging, then you will have no problems.

These tips can make a huge difference to the success of your date. If you want to be sure to secure a second or third date, keep these ideas in mind.
