Facebook Dating Will Be Launched in America One Day

America will soon have a new online dating app launched by Facebook. It’s a service that’s now being offered in Colombia, Canada and Thailand and promises to be the latest and greatest trend to help people find their soulmates.

Users of the new app will need to create a new profile, separate from the one that is used for friends, family and acquaintances. None of your dating information will be shared through your other Facebook profile news feed and vise-versa.

Facebook also promises that they won’t try to match you with anyone on your other account – including those you may have blocked. But you might also give someone a second chance with the Second Look feature on the Facebook app.

This gives you a way to interview someone a second time that you may have initially rejected initially. You can also stop the matching at any time for any reason. You may have found someone you want to date exclusively or just want to get out for a time.

Another feature lets you hide people from others on your suggested matches list from viewing. This includes particular friends or friends of those friends. Facebook got the idea to open their dating app from looking at actual statistics.

People who use Facebook were using it to connect with old friends and make new ones. Romantic type relationships sometimes formed within the groups of people who listed themselves as single.

With over 200 million people listing themselves as single in the relationship status option, Facebook has seized the opportunity to now help people realize their dreams of meeting that special someone.

Facebook Groups and Facebook Events are just two of the options available when people sign up for the Facebook Dating app. This helps singles find those who have similar dating preferences and could possibly find someone initially overlooked.

Singles on Facebook can begin conversations with others by choosing another user’s profile and commenting on something rather than simply copying and pasting a pick-up line.

Popularity of the original concept of Facebook has proven itself. Now, the new concept of using it to find dating partners promises to add some fresh spice into the world of dating and give singles yet another option in the vast choices of dating apps.

Although Facebook Dating app is now in the testing stages, perspective users in America will have to wait until there are enough signed up in Canada and Thailand to make an assessment of its success.

The Facebook Dating app will only be available to users in America who are over 18 years of age. As of now, there is no new information about when the Facebook Dating app will be available in America.

Online dating has made meeting and getting to know others so much easier than it was before the advent of digital dating sites. It’s much more common now to meet and become familiar with a life-partner online before you ever meet in person.

But with the ease of digital dating comes new issues that could impact your safety. There are a few things you should be aware of before you ever begin the digital dating process.

It’s not only personal safety that’s involved with online dating – new issues have become evident that could involve identity theft, harassment and other types of theft. Physical danger may also occur if you decide to meet.

One of the first things you must decide when you enter the digital dating world is which site you’re going to use to set up a profile. Some sites are very open and anyone can message you.

Instead, choose a site that requires both parties to communicate before the serious messaging begins. This doesn’t completely get rid of your chances of receiving unwanted or unpleasant messages, but it may limit the amount.

Although you’re not responsible for the actions of another person, such as lying on the dating sites, you should always assume responsibility for protecting yourself when you’re about to interact with a stranger.

Note whether or not the people you’re communicating with can find out where you live. Don’t join a dating site where your specific geographical location can be accessed. Safety experts also recommend that you use unique photos on your dating site profile.

Using the same photos that can be seen on sites like Facebook and Google increases your chances of someone finding your whereabouts. Personal details about your life should also be left out of your contact information.

Digital dating has many pros and cons when you compare it to conventional dating. While it can be more convenient and easier to meet people, talking over text can have a lot of issues that can make it hard to communicate well and move on into an actual relationship.

One of the most common issues you might run into while dating online is catfishing. Catfishing refers to when someone’s profile and pictures aren’t the same as who they actually are.

You might find someone’s profile pictures attractive, only to meet them in person and see that they look nothing like that because the picture is old, or sometimes not even who you thought they were at all.

People often make catfish profiles because they lack confidence in how they look. Catfishing can be difficult to spot because you’re only looking at pictures they choose and talking through text.

If they put up fake pictures that they found somewhere else, you might have no way of knowing just by looking at it. Now, what you can do is try to use a reverse image search to see if those pictures come up from any profiles that don’t match up.

When you find out that you’ve been catfished, the best option to take is to cut contact with them. Another common problem that you’ll likely run into is what’s called ghosting. Ghosting is when someone you’re talking to suddenly stops all communication with you, and you’re left with a totally dead conversation.

This can be really discouraging, because you might think that a conversation is going really well until all communication stops. People have all kinds of different reasons for ghosting, whether they lose interest or get nervous, but it has a greater effect on the recipient of the ghosting.

The best thing that you can do if you get ghosted is to just move on. If someone couldn’t even give you the decency of telling you they’re not interested, then they weren’t right for you in the first place, right?

These problems and others can make it difficult to find a legitimate relationship through online dating apps and sites, but with enough perseverance, you can work through them.

It’s natural to be suspicious of certain accounts when you’re dating online, so be sure to verify people’s identities before you ever meet up with them in person. Not everyone is exactly who they say they are, which can lead to a lot of awkward moments on a first date.
