In all aspects of life, people will tend to do what’s easiest for them - going the path of least resistance.
For example, people will often cut corners in their work just because it’s a lot easier than making sure everything is perfect.
One part of life in which people choose the easier path is their emotions and their outlook on the world. It’s so much easier to be negative than it is to be positive.
Seeing the bad in things isn’t hard at all, because almost everything has a flaw in one way or another.
Even though they might not mean to, many people tend to look at life negatively just because it’s simple.
They like to complain a lot to other people just to vent frustrations, and they’re always accumulating more things to complain about.
One good way to start becoming more positive in life is to get a gratitude journal. Gratitude journals are fairly simple: at the end of the day, jot down in a little notebook what you were grateful for that day.
You can keep it near your bed so that when you’re getting ready to go to sleep, you can end the day on a positive note. Your entries in your gratitude journal are only for you. You’re not having to present them or show them to anyone.
It’s just something for you to remind yourself of the good things you have going for you.
Your entries don’t have to be incredibly detailed - you can write down bullet points or a few paragraphs, whatever you feel comfortable with.
The things you choose to write in your journal don’t always have to be something major.
If something major happens, you should write it down, but you also have to be able to appreciate smaller things.
Huge good things don’t happen to you every day, so you have to take pride in the little victories. It could be as small as someone having held a door open for you, or as major as finding out you’re getting a massive pay raise at work.
These gratitude journals are incredibly helpful for boosting your self esteem because you’ll quickly realize just how good you have it.
You’ll stop thinking so much about the negative side of things and more about how much you can appreciate the goodness in your life.

"You are a life Saver!!
I recently discovered this site and I can tell you that my life has not been the same. I now come here EVERYDAY and spend at least 1 hour.
I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty
magazine which just means that I spend more. Now I have replaced that
habit with coming here.
In future I will think about contributing articles as well. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! and God bless"
